Association for Development and Education “Safe Step” held a meeting with representatives of institutions (City Administration of the City of Bijeljina, “Lara” Foundation, Police Department of Bijeljina), in which the leaders of the association “Siguran korak (eng. “Safe Step”) presented the project “The welfare of woman – the welfare of society”, and then they discussed the topic of gender-based violence and exchanged opinions, views and useful advice for future action in the fight against violence.
We would like to thank everyone present for a very constructive meeting.
After the meeting, a meeting was arranged with the representatives of the Center for Social Work in Bijeljina, and then the recording and publication of a video on the topic of gender-based violence was realized.
The meeting was realized as part of the project “Women’s well-being – society’s well-being”, which is financially supported by the Ecumenical Initiative of Women from Croatia, as part of the SEE CHANGE project, funded by the EU.
